Öz İlkyardım

Öz İlkyardım provides certified health and first-aid training to companies. They wanted a clean, modern mark to replace their dated logo, one that speaks of health and a trustworthy certificate at the same time. I presented three concepts and turned the chosen one into a complete identity with colour, type, a pattern and applications.

01

Goal

The provider's clients are companies and HR teams, so the logo had to look like a serious, trustworthy training institution rather than a hospital. My goal was to keep the universal language of healthcare while creating a distinctive, memorable mark that reads at every scale, from an app icon to office signage.

02

Three concepts

I presented three directions. The first was a bespoke monogram merging the initials Ö and Z with heart and cross symbols. The second placed a heart, a cross, a reaching hand and a human figure inside a shield that stands for trust; this was my own recommendation in the deck. The third started from the dynamic cross in a logo the client had shared as inspiration and added a checkmark to it. The client chose the third.

03

Final mark, colour and type

In the final mark I set a checkmark inside a medical cross through negative space: the cross speaks of health and first aid, the check of certification and trust. Instead of the cliché emergency red I chose a terracotta orange (#BB4430) that feels more institutional, grounded by dark grey (#2F2F2F) and light grey (#EAEAEA). The name is set in Futura SC T OT Light, whose light geometric letters balance the strong mark. I delivered the logo as vector files in horizontal and vertical lockups.

04

System and applications

From the modular shape of the mark I built a brand pattern that works on any surface. The identity board brings together the logo, icon variants, signage, a pen, the pattern and the palette; the aim was for the provider to look equally consistent everywhere, from training materials to the office entrance.
