Cèdre Restaurant

Cèdre is a restaurant and bakery at the Blanca Beach Hotel in Hidayet Bay, Kaş. I designed a burger and sandwich box that brings the care of the dining room to take-away orders, and A5 flyers that carry the hotel-guest discount campaign into print. The logo and brand guide belong to the restaurant; my job was to adapt that identity faithfully to new surfaces.

The brief

Cèdre is a high-end restaurant in Kaş. The request was clear: the take-away box should feel like the restaurant itself, not like fast-food packaging. It had to protect the food, carry the brand and lead customers to the restaurant's digital channels.

Working within the brand guide

Consistency is everything for a luxury brand, so I stayed strictly within the official guide. The palette is built on the brand's two core colours: deep forest green #354139 and natural beige #CAC4B0. For type I used the Outfit family and Barlow Condensed ExtraBold Italic. I turned the brand's cedar-tree icon into a subtle repeating pattern on the lid and sides to give the box texture.

Die-line and details

Packaging sits where graphic design meets industrial design. I planned every panel on the die-line so the logo, copy and pattern line up exactly once the box is folded. The front greets the customer with “Everything inside this box was prepared with care.”; one side carries a QR code to the restaurant's website and social media, the other holds Turkish and English legal notes set discreetly to keep the clean look.

A5 flyers

For a campaign offering hotel guests 10% off, I designed two co-branded Cèdre × Blanca Beach A5 flyers. One puts the discount up front in a green and cream diagonal layout; the other sets a more inviting tone with the headline “Take a delicious break from your holiday”, a warm food photo and a QR code. The aim was to lead guests from the hotel to the restaurant a few steps away. I also made a short animated mockup in After Effects for social media.
