Lidea Demoday
Lidea is a free startup programme run in Fethiye by the Likya Business People’s Association. Demoday, the final day of its second term, took place on 9 May 2026, with 15 startups pitching to a six-person jury. I produced the event’s stage package: the opening film and the jury and logo screens.

Goal
Demoday is the on-stage result of a programme that runs for months. My aim was to give the room a launch atmosphere from the first minute and make the programme’s work visible: tell the path from application to incubation, the supporters and the startups about to pitch in one flow, then hand over cleanly to the pitches.
Visual language
I used an astronaut floating underwater as the key visual: a metaphor for founders diving into the unknown. Gradients flowing from teal and emerald to violet and indigo, Montserrat Black headlines and cyan details on the numbers tie every screen into one family. I animated the background loop with Google Veo and built the compositing and typography by hand in Photoshop.
Stage screens
I prepared 16:9 intro screens for the jury members, six logo walls for sponsors, partners, media, award and gift sponsors and supporters. I built the screens as transparent overlays, so the control room could composite them over the moving background and switch them instantly as the programme moved on.
Opening film
In the 1:36 opening film I told the programme’s journey in numbers, then introduced the supporters, the 15 startups about to pitch and the jury; it hands the room over to the pitches with “Lidea Demoday begins” and “Welcome”. I edited the footage supplied to me from the previous term, corrected colour and audio, and built the animated titles in Premiere Pro and After Effects. I finished the film in the early hours of event day.
